Timothy Butler, Founder and President of Benchmark Registrar Representative
With more than fifteen years of sales, customer service and management experience. He has combined his background in
manufacturing and eight years of ISO sales at Intertek SC - ETL Semko, with a Bachelor’s degree from Worcester State
College in Business Administration, to successfully form and manage a new
industry model for the ISO Registrar selection process and the industry as a
whole. In 1998, Tim began selling ISO 9001 related certifications and has since helped more than 1,400 companies
personally, select an accredited Quality Management System Registrar for one or more of the family of ISO standards. This includes, Fortune 1000 clients,
Lockheed Martin and SAES Getters to smaller two person machine shops, MS Design
and others, select a registrar that best fits their needs. Over the last four years, his
approach has saved these clients more than $2 Million dollars in just the audit
man day costs of their ISO certifications. This model allows the customer to have a liaison, to act on their behalf, between
them and their registrar. He can provide better customer service and support, at significantly reduced costs to
the client, through this approach.
Tim is a father of two in his home town, where he volunteers and remains active
in his community by participating in Junior Achievement, an active member of
American Society for Quality-ASQ, is a member and past President of the Central
Massachusetts National Wild Turkey Federation, a Tiger Scout Den Leader for
